Job Description:-
As a Technical / Refit Manager you will be responsible for delivering both commercial and naval projects within budget and time.
Responsible for assisting in the running of the Portsmouth office, projects include naval vessels of all types, fast ferries, passenger ferries and other commercial craft.
Managing a team of up to 40 personnel, including senior fitters and welder / fabricators and other skilled trades of various disciplines, you will be prepared to take a 'hands-on' approach when required whilst maintaining financial control from the quotation stage through to completion of works.
Skills & Experience:-
You will ideally have previous knowledge of Portsmouth Naval Base and any previous involvement with Aluminium High Speed craft will be a distinct advantage.
You will have previous experience of liaison with key customers at all levels, creating opportunities to grow the business through previous contacts and knowledge.
