2nd Engineer - Research Vessel We have a vacancy for a 2nd Engineer (1st Engineer) on board a Research Vessel. The vessel is owned by  NATO  and presently assigned to their Undersea Research Centre, located at La Spezia, Italy. The successful candidate will have experience  on Diesel Electric powered vessels arising from service, possibly in the Offshore/Energy sector  or possibly in the  Cruise sector on similarly powered vessels. . Experience of DP and HiPAP equipped vessels will be an added advantage. .  Seafarers with service solely on  conventional cargo vessels may be considered, but not for senior positions .   Salary: Competitive   Tour of Duty: 2 months.   Leave Ratio 1:1.   Flag: German Public Flag   Document requirements: 2/E Unlimited COC, NATO country passport, D A Test, Medical Fitness Certificate, MFA, PSSR, PST, AFF, PSCRB, Seaman's Book.   The successful candidate will be required to obtain DVA Security Clearance .   Candidates must be nationals of a NATO Member country Appreciate if you can send candidates asap
