Technical Auditor (Contracts & Tech Audit)

Our client has a vacancy for a Technical Author based in Qatar.

An engineer with wide experience in contract drafting (FIDIC and other forms of contract), contract administration, procurement, contract procedures and claim preparation and possibly having experience with various project parties (Consultant, Contractor & Client).

Preferably have previous experience in auditing and/or in capacity building/technical assistance projects.

Main Responsibilities
* Review of Project Organization and Management
* Review project staffing, qualifications and performance
* Review project procedures for design and construction approvals
* Review project forms of contract from draft up to signature
* Review of Contract Preparation and Management
* Support to/advise the Project Executive Director on best practices to resolve outstanding project issues
* Review of specific project organization features upon request from the Project Executive Director

Position Requirements
* MSc in Civil Engineering and/or port construction related activities
* Extensive international experience including eventual experience in the Middle East
* Considerable experience as a Contract Expert
* Significant experience in auditing

This is a permanent position.

The salary for this position is negotiable.
