Basic Functions
Must be competent in Cutting and Forming, Assembling and Installing and Testing

Principal Responsibilities
Cutting and Forming
Setting Out Pipework and Marking Out
Developing Patterns for Pipework
Preparing Pipe Ends using Portable Edge Preparation Machines
Pipe Bending
Fabricating Pipework Branches and Bends

Assembling
Jointing Pipework using Flanged Joints
Preparing and Assembling Screwed Pipework
Preparing and Assembling Small Bore Non-Ferrous Pipework
Preparing and Assembling Welded Pipework
Preparing and Assembling Non-Metallic Pipework
Assembling and Tightening Bolted Flanged Connections
Preparing and Bonding GRP Pipework

Installing and Testing
Fabricating and Installing Pipework Systems
Installing Pipework Systems
Installing Steam Tracing and Jacketed Pipes
Preparing and Testing Pipework Systems

Training/Experience
MJI10/18/19
Survival
Mist
Medical
Offshore experience preferred
