As Offshore Material Controller your main responsibilities will include
Carry out all duties in accordance with all company policies, procedures and legislative requirements for material movement and inventory.
Act as the focal point and controller for all inventory movements within the offshore facility including goods receipting & goods issue of all materials offshore.
Liaise with onshore procurement & logistics to ensure inventory materials are expedited in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the inventory holding.
Track heli-fuel and potable water usage to ensure sufficient supply is maintained.
Manage deck space on assets in alignment with OU plans. Input in to the planning process with regard to deck space limitations.
Manage White Tag/Holding materials in accordance to material management process.
Carry out stock counts and resolve all compliance issues ensuring all items are counted at least annually.
Train services personnel in warehouse duties to cover absence and assist during periods of high activity.
Liaise with technical authority and material management group to monitor inventory levels using SAP to ensure efficient levels of inventory are maintained in the warehouse.
Initiate the return of surplus items via the Pre Notification and Returns process.
Ensure all items held in the offshore warehouse are reconciled to SAP at all times
Skills
PC Literate
Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air (formal qualification)
Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Sea (formal qualification)
Duty of Care Regulations (Waste Management)
Experience of Customs Procedures
Experience of Warehouse Procedures
Trained in COSHH awareness
Experience of SAP PM, MM and Timesheet Modules
Explosives Awareness on Offshore Installations
Customs Procedures
Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques
This is a contract position - based offshore on the asset on a 14/21 rotation out of Norwich
