Topsides Piping Project Engineer

Our client is an international upstream Oil & Gas company with the majority of its production carried out in North America, the North Sea and Southeast Asia and is committed to conducting its business safely, in an ethically, socially and environmentally responsible manner

As Topsides Piping Project Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Maintain the 'stage gate' processes through all phases of the project delivery system
Work in accordance with the company's project department management system.
Provide technical assistance the development of the company's project department management system.
Remain abreast of legislative requirements.
Approval, checking and preparation of design/engineering documentation.
Develop and enhance processes and systems for wider use in the discipline.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards and Procedures.
Provide input to cost estimates and execution plans.
Ensure delivery of all aspects of discipline design, specification and procurement of the project to cost, schedule and quality criteria.
Ensure technical integrity of all discipline deliverables on the project.
Plan and maintain the discipline progress of the project.

Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications:
Proven track record of involvement in projects at a similar phase of maturity and of a similar size and complexity.
Preferably Degree qualified in engineering, skilled in the practice of Piping Engineering, with proven experience of related projects
