We Offer:

As Cadet Administrator in Svendborg you are part of a small team of dedicated colleagues, who are part of Maersk Line Crewing/Global Cadet Administration in Singapore. The team in Svendborg is responsible for recruitment and administration of the Maersk marine cadet program in Denmark.

The main focus of your job is to actively support recruiting new cadets, attend marketing and administration of applicants, as well as overall administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be recruiting for our cadet program conducting interviews and administering tests. To ensure a good flow of candidates, you will arrange events and campaigns necessary, create recruitment strategies, liaise with advertisement agencies etc to attract cadet candidates and attend events and meetings throughout in Denmark – some travel must be anticipated. From this follows some administrational tasks such as updating personnel systems, handling budget and costs.

You will be part of the over HR processes for our crewing organization and will therefore have some involvement in training and educating our junior engineers, liaise with cadets and masters on board our vessels as well as with maritime schools and authorities involved in training and education.

Who we are looking for:

You are a team player who can also work independently managing the challenges you are faced with. It is important that you are at eyelevel with young people and you are reliable and keep a positive and open mindset. You are energetic and flexible showing control during hectic periods while also performing well on repetitive tasks. You have an eye for detail and prioritize your tasks well.

It is a must that you communicate fluently in verbal and written English and Danish and you are skilled in Microsoft Office programs. Preferably, you have experience from a similar role and may have a maritime background as officer.
