The local IT department supports all IT needs for both administrative and technical systems at APMT Gothenburg. We are currently restructuring the IT department to cope with rapid and changing requirements, including a major rebuild of our IT infrastructure and processes. The position as IT Network and Infrastructure Architect requires both deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience together with an ability to manage and coordinate others. You are always up to date in the latest standards and trends and have a burning interest for the application of new technology to contribute to business innovation, ensure business continuity and IT security, and reduce IT running costs. You should be analytical, systematical and able to prioritize.
Areas of responsibilities
• Managing the day to day systems operations, network and voice operations in a complex infrastructural environment
• Project manage all IT technical projects
• Design and manage network and infrastructure design standards and best practices/SOPs.
• HP Server operations including VMware, Microsoft and AIX
• Responsibility for our datacenter
• Data storage management (SAN, back-up etc) and failover and recovery management
• Radio equipment management (Tetra, Wifi and 3G)
• Cisco VoIP telecom management
• IT Security management
• IT Asset (HW/SW) management and documentation
• Desktop management, VMware view, smart phone/iPad and mobile terminal management
• Transition of legacy systems into HP server based VMware, Microsoft MSSQL environment
• Keep a close technical liaison with our IT outsourcing supplier and out global IT organization for execution of activities
Education & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
• Minimum 5-8 years in IT Network & Infrastructure Design and Administration
• CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional - is a must
• MCSE, MCSA - Microsoft Certified System Engineer / Administrator - is a must
• Experience in team leadership and/or network and system implementation is an advantage
• VCP VMware and/or Oracle certification is a plus
• Fluency in spoken and written technical English and Swedish. All group communications are in English
