As Commissioning Team Lead your main responsibilities will include

Interface with Project Engineering, Planning, Construction and Start-up groups
Develop integrated Commissioning strategies for all Onshore and Offshore Activities
Review and challenge the EPIC Contractors output to ensure optimum use of technology, methodology and resources
Manage and direct the activities of the EPIC Contractors Commissioning/Completions team ensuring all topsides modifications work are completed in compliance with corporate standards, company policies & procedures and industry regulations.
Ensure Pre-commissioning and Commissioning works are prioritised in line with the Asset's safety, production, environmental and OPEX objectives
Identify opportunities to improve contractor/supplier performance, reduce costs and improve the quality of services supplied
Provide specialist Commissioning and Start-up technical support to Facilities Engineering and Operations teams and other functions as required
Ensure Engineering Change Control procedures (MOC) and working practices are maintained in line with company procedures
Undertake offshore visits in support of ongoing Commissioning activities
Liaison with Independent Verification Party
Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with engineering & construction stakeholders eg OIM's, Field Managers, Joint Venture Partners, O&M teams, D&C teams etc and hold regular feedback meetings with these stakeholders
Represent the Company at meetings with joint venture partners and other
Provide coaching and mentoring support to less experienced engineers/graduate engineers

Qualifications/Training
Engineering/Science degree, HNC/HND or equivalent with relevant experience
Valid Offshore Survival Certificate (BOSIET), MIST UK O&G Offshore Medical
ISSoW/ESSoW Permit to Work Training

Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Previous experience of operations and maintenance in the offshore oil and gas industry
Proven track record of identifying and developing sound and innovative technical solutions
Knowledge of associated technical/engineering disciplines e.g. process, instrument/controls, mechanical and planning
Proven track record on Commissioning and Start-up of Brownfield modifications
Technical proficiency in IT programmes/systems e.g. Excel, SAP MMS, engineering software
Fully familiar with UK Industry regulations relating to the Oil and Gas industry
Experience of dealing with e.g. HSE, DTI, IVPs and joint venture partners
