Job Overview:
• Co-ordinate, track and report individual new build business opportunities once leads have been identified in accordance with The New Build Sales Process, stages 1 to 8.
• Once leads have been successfully pursued, facilitate and manage a handover from Business Development to the Pre-Site Phase.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure appropriate priority is given to the most attractive business leads.
• Once identified, enter and maintain leads in a system, establish timelines and initiate data gathering activity with the shipbuilding/ship-owner representatives and other relevant parties.
• Identify relationships, liaise with the Bid Manager and other Leads Coordinators with shared interests to track and assist successful progress of the bid.
• Maintain all relevant bid information such as client data, work orders and leads information in a project file.
• Obtain, collate, review and present information that will enable the opportunity to be qualified and a bid/no bid decision made.
• Obtain information from Account Managers relating to the clients such as propensity to work with LR which will enable Project Managers to understand thier expectations.
• Initiate and manage a handover from the Business Development Team to the Pre-Site Project Manager, submitting the project file and information in a timely manner.
• Collate, analyse and communicate information on bids won and lost.
• Continually monitor and identify opportunities to develop existing leads management practices into more professional and effective working processes.
• Undertake work in accordance with the Bid Manager’s requirements

• Degree or equivalent standard, or experience commensurate with work at this level.
