Area of responsibility


·         Gather, provide and analyse commercial information data ·         Support the Chief Commercial Officer administratively in all areas ·         Coordinate and facilitate communications to and from the Chief Commercial Officer ·         Act as Super User for internal Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), prepare and analyze reports and provide support to all CRM users

Key responsibilities


·         Manage the Chief Commercial Officer´s diary, co-ordinating of appointments

·         Coordination and control of incoming requests for information, assisting with the prioritisation of activities and allocation of resources. The department must be responsive and professional at all times and be recognised as such.

·         Managing the Chief Commercial Officer´s workload in his/her absence, e.g. making decisions within defined authority and delegating work / decisions to others ·         Dealing with incoming emails, faxes and post ·         Preparation of PowerPoint presentations and general communication documents for the Chief Commercial Officer ·         Arrange travel, corporate entertainment and meetings for the Chief Commercial Officer ·         Organising (and attending) events such as Presentations, Sales Meetings etc ·         Carrying out background research and presenting findings ·         Liaising with customers, management team and other staff ·         Gathering of commercial performance data ·         Coordinate and Follow-up projects in German Damco Sales Organisation ·         Generate reports from CRM and analyse data ·         Prepare weekly / monthly presentations with CRM data ·         Collating and consolidating report on monthly sales performance per sales staff, per product, per region or office, and per industry ·         Control reports provided by GSC / Region / CEN ·         Provide CRM Training to sales staff and inform all users on updates ·         Create new CRM users and delete user profiles if appl. ·         Ensure high quality of CRM data and instruct users to complete / change if needed ·         Provide system support to all CRM users in Cluster ·         Project and ad-hoc tasks

Capabilities and competencies

The ideal candidate will be a highly numerate person who has good interpersonal skills to manage different stakeholders. A good communicator to all levels of the organization with the ability to manage time effectively and excellent prioritisation and organisation skills who is used to working with and meeting tight deadlines. The candidate has an assertive and professional approach.


·         Professional knowledge of Logistics / Forwarding business ·         General understanding of  Business Administration and Economics ·         Expertise in CRM software solutions ·         Highly proficient skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Experience: 3 years experience in an equivalent position is a must, experience in Sales / Marketing would be beneficial. Language Skills: The ability to fluently write and present in local language is a pre-requisite as well as the same level of fluency in English.
