Israel is looking for Safmaine Sales / Country Managerbased in Tel Aviv. The role Safmaine Sales / Country Manager is to drive sales interaction in the strategic Israeli market. The role will be heavily sales and customer service based and focused with extensive ongoing customer interaction aimed at improving Safmarine's business in the Israeli market. The position will report directly the Israel Cluster TOP and will form a key part of the Israel Cluster management team.
Area of responsibility:
·         To drive profitable growth focusing on Safmarine's core markets(volume & yield) ·         To ensure professional Sales approach adopted in the sales organization in Israel ·         Continuously deliver & improve sales efficiency measures, KPI's & other targets ·         To Maintain first class relationships with customer base in Israel ·         To enhance customer service export KPI's and deliver and improve CSE efficiency measures ·         Ongoing focus on Customer Satisfaction and customer engagement generally and through the Customer Satisfaction Survey ·         Embrace new sales tools including but not limited to Sales Force, Quote tool, Commitment tool, Bucket tool ·         Actively support relevant SCL initiatives Essential job tasks: ·         Lead the Sales & Customer Service Team in Safmarine Israel ·         Develop talent, competences, engagement ·         Follow up and take appropriate actions on EES results and other organizational surveys or feedback ·         Ensure frontline sales is carried out in line with Safmarine strategy ·         To provide an exemplary sales experience through internal/external processes and differentiate on Access and dominate on Experience ·         Coordination with internal suppliers and stakeholders with regards to sales issues ·         Support and work closely with Customer Service to ensure delivery of offering and reaching or exceeding joint targets ·         Ensure proactiveness and efficiency in the organization ·         Actively develop SCL relation with customers ·         Fulfill or exceed of established KPI's and targets ·         Relentless focus on cashflow and DSO improvement ·         Effectively manage ‘Dual Branding' model Learning Opportunities: ·         Leadership, management and development of a team ·         Individual talent development ·         Organizational design ·         Process and change management ·         Risk management ·         Efficient interaction with other functions ·         Authority and responsibility Generic Characteristics: The ideal candidate will be · A person who has a strong business and customer understanding · A person with experience in management or alternatively a person with the adequate characteristics and ambitions to pursue the experience · An individual, who is decisive, competitive, has a sense of urgency and results - thereby delivering objectives and increasing business performance. · A leader that inspires, motivates, coaches, communicates and collaborates and thereby drive the necessary changes in both process and organization. · An initiator with excellent skills in relationship and management. Experience from Sales is essential Multi-functional experience also considered an advantage. Previous experience in leading a team is a selection criterion though high performers with leader-talents are equally encouraged to apply.

Language needed in position

Hebrew and English must be commanded verbally and in writing.
