The position as HR Business Partner in SVITZER provides a challenging role, which will allow you to;
· Gain global exposure through cooperation with our 6 Regions and Divisions
· Obtain broad involvement and exposure to SVITZER's senior management team as well as the opportunity to impact decisions
· Get involved in all aspects of HR partnering and be a driving force in setting the strategic agenda of Group HR
· Drive and implement global strategic HR processes with a focus on constant improvement
Areas of Responsibility
The overall responsibility of SVITZER Group HR is to provide second-to-none HR advice and support to senior management and regional HR managers in our many organisations worldwide. For the coming years, we have set an ambitious agenda for the function, which will aim to strengthen our strategic as well as operational HR processes. As the successful candidate you will play a key role in achieving this agenda.
As our organization is highly decentralised, you will join a small Group HR department and handle a broad range of tasks covering the entire operational HR pallet as well as play a key role in strategic HR initiatives planned for the coming years.
In 2013 our strategic HR focus will be on strengthening the people performance management process and build up a systematic approach to talent management across the SVITZER Group.
We will work closely with the Functional Heads of the SVITZER senior management team to assess and further develop our employee's capabilities within key functional areas with an initial focus on safety and HSSEQ. We will implement MyHR HRIT system and work with our regional HR colleagues to ensure we reap the benefits of our new HRIT system as a function and as a company.
Looking for another great colleague
As an HR Business Partner you will be given responsibility for your own business accounts, you will be the Group HR focal point for a number of our regions as well as be the driver of several of our strategic initiatives.
Hence we expect that you have an educational background within HR (MSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, Graduate diploma (HD) in Organisation and Management or other relevant university degree) yet your approach to HR is pragmatic and hands on.
You have worked for the past 5-7 years as a HR Business Partner in a Centre HR organization or you have been the HR manager of a larger country or cluster organization.
As a person you are analytical and you have a passion for transforming complexity into simple, actionable and impactful initiatives. You are highly IT literate and have experience working with SAP HRM and Excel.
You know your HR operational processes such as recruitment, salary evaluation and job grading extremely well and you have successfully worked with strategic HR processes such as cascading of objectives, performance calibration and people strategy sessions. It's is not a requirement, but a benefit if your passion for strategic HR lies within Performance Management and Compensation & Benefits.
You are a strong communicator and you have a proven track record of successfully working with colleagues across geographies and cultures.
