An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Through Life Support Project Manager to join a major industrial support partner of the Royal Navy.
ImportantPrevious Project Management experience within a defence related background.
The JobMy clients role in the Successor programme is to ensure through life support considerations are incorporated into the Successor Submarine design and to generate the support solution that will be utilised to maintain and sustain the platforms through their in-service life.
This is a unique opportunity to have a significant influence amongst collaborative partners and to make a real difference and to ensure the platforms are as supportable as possible in-service.
Main purpose of role:
The FSM Project Manager is responsible for ensuring my clients contract(s) supporting the Future Submarine programme are discharged effectively. Along with the TLS Chief Engineer, represent the business as members of the collaboration IPMT Management Team and to interface at senior programme level.
Key Skills and Knowledge:
Management of a large, multi-disciplinary and multi-organisation team.
Collaborative with strong people skills able to form close working relationships with other collaborative partners.
Key Behaviours and Technical Competencies:
Refined programme management skills with a demonstrable ability to deliver multi-site, mult-agency, complex programmes.
Experience & Qualifications:
Significant experience of managing a range of in-service submarine support activities.
