They are currently recruiting for the position of Project Cost Estimator / QS, based in Immingham.

Job Description
* Accountable for cost estimating on all Project Management Group managed projects.
* Provide project cost estimate support to the Refinery Capital Long Range Plan.
* Provide contract administration and financial measurement to construction contracts
* Maintain, develop and improve in-house Refinery cost estimating capability with the flexibility of adopting manual or other techniques where applicable.
* Provide cost estimates for all managed projects to the required tolerances prior to funding approval.
* When applicable, co-ordinate with Major Engineering contractors to ensure that any external cost estimates meet company criteria.
* Liaison with Construction and Procurement groups in the preparation, award and management of construction contracts.
* Check and agree site and contract measurements and invoices submitted.
* Collect, collate forecast and final costs for analysis.
* Establish statistical trends and empirical factors to achieve demonstrable improvement in cost estimating accuracy.
* Provide cost estimating metrics and KPI's for Capital Projects to track the trends of various levels of cost estimates.

This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
