' Role: Crew Officer/Chief Financial Officer
' Start date: Spring
' Vessel: Sssshhh it's a secret! You will of course be told on application
' Salary: $5,613.00 for the first two months then $3500US paid 12 months of the year
' Berthing: Single cabin
' Website: On application
' Rotation: 4 months on and 2 months off
' JD: Coming soon!
' Required: A medical and visas'which will be paid for by the company!
' Flights: Provided free of charge by the company both ways

The Great Role Overview

' Crew Administration ' Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of Crew information including dates of Contracts, Passports, Visas, Seaman's Books or any other current of future documentation required.
' Crew Clearance ' Responsible for the well-being and comfort of the Crewmembers arrival and departure including proper documentation preparation and/or request of tickets, traveling visas and hotel accommodation (when necessary)
' Payroll ' Administers the Payroll Process for all Crewmembers
' Chief Finance Officer ' When working in this position you will be accountable for all the ships financial accountability. It is vital that you have done a financial role onboard to make sure you are qualified for this aspect of the job.
' The Crew Officer/Chief Financial Officer must abide by all Human Resources Principles and Objectives, as described by company standards and procedures including the Confidentiality Agreement. You must ensure that all interactions with all Crewmembers are done in a professional and courteous manner

You The Brilliant Professional

You will be currently or very recently working in a role of Crew Officer/Chief Financial Officer on a high quality vessel. This role will only be suitable for a professional whom has had experience in this role previously. Perhaps you are Chief Purser/ Chief Financial Officer now and really enjoyed the time working within this field. Maybe you have some ambitions of becoming an HR Manager shipboard or could even be in a personnel role right now?! Your track record of working at sea will be not 'jumping' around from ship to ship and will show great 'length of service within your work arena. You will be able to start at short notice and have a simply sparkling personality. Preferably you will have been exposed to sailing in many parts of the world from your previous experiences at sea and be aware of the clearance requirements within these areas too. This role will be accountable for 'Payroll' and thus you will have been responsible for this area of work too.
