Well Services Engineer

Our client is a major Mining and Oil & Gas production company based in Aberdeen and operating in the North Sea

As Well Services Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Remain aware of the mechanical condition and importance of all production and injection wells and liaise with the Well Services Team Leader, Production, Exploitation and Well Technology engineers to determine intervention requirements.
Plan, direct and supervise all platform based well service activities, ensuring that all risks are adequately controlled and are completed in a timely, safe and cost effective manner.
Implement well service instructions / schedules so that wells are maintained free of mechanical problems, so maximising uptime for production and injection.
Identify well service opportunities which will result in enhanced production and injection.
Identify new technology and methodology capable of reducing well service times and costs. Specifically, to identify non-rig possibilities for well servicing and xmas tree maintenance or removal.
Monitor well service expenditure against budgets and AFEs' and ensure cost control of such activities
