Lloyd’s Register EMEA, as part of the Lloyds Register Group, is a premier independent classification society with global coverage. Due to business growth, we are now seeking a new colleague to be located in our office in Hellerup, Copenhagen for Electric Design Review.
Job Responsibilities:
To carry out plan approval of Electrical components and systems in connection with both new constructions and conversions. The role also take on responsibility of assisting clients in the design and construction phase as well as participating in meetings and shop tests of components and systems where required. Due to business growth, management tasks/people management could be an opportunity for the right candidate.
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Preferably 3-years experience or qualifications from a yard consultants class or other Marine related institutions.
• Client focused
• Good communication skills (working language is English)
• Commercial Awareness
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise work and meet LR and Clients deadlines
• Ability to work effectively
• Ability to travel (Nordic countries mostly)
• Experience with people management tasks (employee development, personnel issues etc.)
You will be responsible for performing all aspects of technical work relating to Electro technical Design Support. Furthermore, you will take on the role as Field Surveyor within the Nordic Area where required and build up and maintain the technical relationship with sub suppliers in the Nordic area.
Other responsibilities will be:
• Supporting account managers
• Supporting business development activities

The training will take place in Rotterdam and will require a stay of aperiod of 1-3 months at the time.
Travelling in the Nordic Area and in Europe is to be expected as part of the general role.
