Job Overview:
For our Energy, Noise and Vibration team we are looking for an engineer in the field of acoustics, noise and vibration with relevant academic experience and commercial awareness.
Your job will be evaluation and troubleshooting related to noise and vibration for our clients in the Energy industry. Your work will include noise prediction, measuring, analysing, numerical and analytical modelling, and recommending solutions that ensure our clients comply with requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide high quality technical consultancy to our clients.
• Travel frequently on measurement assignments and for meetings with clients.
• Manage smaller projects from initial proposal to measurement and/or analysis, and recommendation.
• Identify opportunities for project extensions and future work.
• Share new knowledge with colleagues.
• Participate in developing and maintaining strong client relationships through effective networking and communication.
• Contribute to developing our range of tools and services to meet client needs.
Job Requirements:
You have an M.Sc or higher education and possibly experience from the following fields: prediction of external noise, noise measurements and control, room and building acoustics, machinery vibration, structural dynamics. You have knowledge, experience and/or interest in acoustic finite element analysis, aeroacoustics, silencer design or ray tracing methods.
You write and speak English fluently, have good communication skills and are comfortable at writing technical reports. You show adaptability and are capable of working against tight deadlines. You understand the value of teamwork and knowledge sharing but are also comfortable working independently.
