Senior QA Engineer

Our client is one of the leading global providers in engineering and construction services as well as technology products and integrated solutions and employ over 20,000 personnel in around 30 countries

As Senior QA Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Provide a local focal point for all delegated QM matters relating to Bids, Projects and other Quality functions.
Align, support and communicate with Project Teams on Project specific issues including PEM gate reviews and design reviews.
Prepare, issue for use and update Project Quality Plans.
Liaise with Customer and Third Party QM representatives in pursuance of and compliance with contractual obligations.
Support, conduct and report on internal, external & project specific audits, where required, in accordance with an approved audit schedule and specific Project requirements. Issue and follow up on NCR's / corrective and preventative actions (if any) resulting from these.
Assist the functional areas in the process improvement activities required to close out any Synergi actions raised during internal audits
Conduct ad hoc audits or investigations into particular quality problems so that root causes are identified and effective corrective and preventive measures are put in place.
Assist in the maintenance and revision of company processes and procedures relating to the functional areas of the business.
Interview and recruit additional resources as and when required.
Support and oversee the Mechanical Completion Processes of the relevant Projects to ensure effective delivery of all relevant documents associated with the compilation of the MCCR activities where required.
Deliver effective communication to team with regard to any organisational changes.
Provision of direction, guidance, support and development of a Quality culture through the induction process and Quality bulletins.

Qualifications / Personal Attributes:
HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering discipline or equivalent
Lead Auditor
Demonstrable relevant experience of working in a QA department, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
A recognised Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification
Formal training in the ISO 9001 Standard
