Quality Engineer

Our client is a major Oil & Gas Operating company with a unique offering covering strategic operations worldwide. Employing over 4,000 personnel they operate with a focus on oil sands, conventional exploration and development and unconventional gas

As Quality Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Ensuring that contractors implement quality control activities in accordance with contract specifications.
Review of contractor's quality documentation.
Identification of intervention points on Inspection and Test Plans.
Ensure that contractors are complying with contract specification requirements.
Ensuring that all work activities are carried out in a safe manner and preventing unsafe working.
Interface with the Project teams, Contractors personnel, IVB, Third Party Inspectorates.

Qualifications/Training
Technical Qualifications HNC, ONC, City & Guilds or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline (required)
CSWIP / PCN Senior Welding Inspector 3.2 (preferred) or Welding Inspector 3.1 (preferred)
CSWIP / PCN Radiographic Interpretation (preferred)

Knowledge/Skills/Training
Experience in fabrication for the UK Sector of the North Sea (required)
Experience in attending manufacturing facilities and conducting monitoring activities
Experience of working to a UK Verification Scheme for a UK North Sea Project
Good presentation, report writing and communication skills
Good time management skills
