As Senior Project Engineer - Tendering your main responsibilities will include
Co-ordinate all activities of the engineering team to develop the technical solution to allow the proposals group to build a cost base.
Co-ordination and review of engineering tender deliverables.
Main point of contact for engineering during the tender process.
Work with others to compile the Project Management, Engineering Management and Engineering man-hours (CTR).
Develop documentation for tender submission (installation method statements, design method statement, qualifications)
Oversee development of schedules for engineering, procurement, fabrication and offshore installation.
Oversee the review of client documentation and determine overall technical compliance, producing technical clarifications and qualifications as necessary.
Oversee technical input to supply chain procurement enquiries and evaluations, liaising with Sales & Marketing and C&P functions.
Summarise and present technical solution as part of technical and management reviews.
Participate in face to face clarifications and presentations with clients.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks related to the proposed technical solutions
Provide leadership for all engineers in group
Ensure all engineering personnel are aware of BMS (Business Management System).
Interface with discipline leads and / or group leads to ensure deliverable schedule is being met and budget is on track.
Ensure schedule of engineering is linked to package and fabrication supply.
Manage activities on tender engineering schedule to ensure compliance.
Specified Qualifications for position

Degree in an engineering discipline

Good general use of IT packages such as Microsoft Office
Sound communication skills, oral, written and electronic
Experience
Essential:
Previous subsea experience at a Senior level
Experience managing interfaces with different departments, clients and suppliers
Desirable
Subsea pipe lay and construction experience
