'Role: Rotational Assistant Bar Manager / Bar Manager moving up and back through the both roles during your contracts

'Company: A fabulous 5* Cruise Ship part of a super large cruising family

'Start date: November / December 2011

'Berthing: Shared (Assistant Bar Manager) / Single cabin (Bar Manager)

'Contract: 4 months on and 2 months off (this is not paid in vacation time sorry)

'Salary: $3752US (Bar Manager) $2973US (Assistant Bar Manager) Tax Free

'Benefits: Flights to and from the ship, uniform, medical coverage and a really amazing life experience

'JD: Full JD on application

'Expenses: You will be required to fund a medical and a C1D US visa if you don't have one already.

You will currently be or most recently be a professional working as an Assistant Bar Manager on board a 5* Cruise Line. This role offers you the rare opportunity to take an active role in the Bar Manager role. You will be covering this position as and when rotation needs require you to do so which should equate to circa one month per contract. You will have the superstar personality that make you stand out from a crowd and provide the highest level of service at all times. You will have worked with GP's and be confident in training new staff as well as making sure the customer always leaves the bar with a large cocktail, never small! Your attention to detail will be second to none and your personal presentation will make you an ambassador of the company.

The Fabulous Role Overview

The Assistant Bar Manager role assists the Public Rooms Manager in the daily overseeing of the operation of all public bars and lounges and beverage service on decks. The Assistant Bar Manger will also assist the Public Rooms Manager in the evaluation and training process of bartenders, bar waiters and Public Rooms utilities. You will be responsible to train and develop your team in up-selling, suggestive selling and link-selling with beverages. You will lead and motivate a team to ensure they are smiling and 'on their toes' at all times. The super opportunity will be focussed on USPH and ensuring the hygiene and cleanliness on-board the ship is sparkling at all times.
