As Lead Mechanical Engineer your main responsibilities will include
Provide the engineering service to design, develop, and configure Distribution Systems with the typical product range (but not limited to) of:
Electrical/Hydraulic Jumpers
Transfer/Parking Plates
Test & Flushing Plates
Subsea Distribution Units
Hydraulic Production Units - Working Knowledge
And the associate sub-assemblies:
Hydraulic & Electrical Couplings
Block & Bleed valves
Mechanical plates & Structures
Qualifications / Experience:
Degree or HNC/HND with relevant industry experience
Demonstrable relevant Mechanical Engineering experience preferably within the Oil and Gas industry
Sound working knowledge of offshore industry best practices
Demonstrable experience in the ability to carry out all elements of mechanical design within Topside & Subsea Controls Systems covering Hydraulic and Electrical Power Distribution and Supply, Instrumentation and Flow measurement, material selection, and welding practices
Must have a proven involvement with multi-disciplined Projects, and be familiar with equipment and activities throughout all levels of business
Review of Electrical & Hydraulic Schematics and Specifications.
Good understand of Control System Hydraulic/ Analysis.
Working knowledge of the following:
MathCAD or similar analysis package.
AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
SAP.
Synergi, NCR's
KIP or equivalent competence tools
SPS
Project Life Cycle Interface - Documentation and Verification
Document Control Execution
