This is a contract position.
the salary for this position is negotiable.

This position is for supplier quality personnel in the Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSCM) group and will report directly to the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Team Leader. The qualified candidates' duties and functions will include the alignment of supplier quality goals and initiatives with the group SQMcp (common processes). These projects include the following:

Ensure safe and reliable operations in the day-to-day activities
Manage the Excellence in Supplier Quality (ESQ) corrective action system
Manage and control the Approved Vendor List (AVL/ASL)
Perform supplier qualification audits on any potential vendors
Perform supplier process audits on current supply chain based upon risk
Verify audit corrective actions, taken for audit findings and applicable supplier defects, are complete and systemic
Report and validate all supplier related quality metrics (Cost of Poor Quality, DPPM, OTD, etc.)
Provide quality metric feedback, on regular intervals, to the management of supply base and PSCM Leadership team
Identify, implement and verify process controls based upon supplier CTQ (Crtical to Quality) characteristics
Coordinate with Technical Authority on any supplier related quality activities
Establishment and management of receiving inspection process at multiple facilities (as needed)

Qualifications:
We are currently seeking a quality professional with extensive oilfield experience. The successful candidate will have a track record with supplier quality management tools in addition to being able to implement world-class quality systems through the utilization of SPC, pFMEA, Control Plans, Six Sigma etc. Experience with overseas vendors is preferred.

Location:
This position will be based in Anchorage, AK with responsibilities throughout Alaska.
