Senior E&I Reliability Engineer
Key Accountabilities & Activities:
Health, Safety and Environment
- To ensure that all I&R activities are planned to deliver high standards of health, safety and environmental performance, in accordance with all legislative requirements and in line with industry best practice.
- Working towards an incident free operation through engendering a culture of change/mind set. Developing a positive health, safety, and environmental culture amongst all of the staff and contractors involved in the planning and execution of I&R activities
- Demonstrating through effective leadership and personal commitment, that health, safety and protection of the environment cannot be compromised.
Planning all maintenance activities efficiently and effectively
Works within and across teams to ensure maintenance tasks are properly analysed conducting critical reviews/assessments of systems and processes, carry out RCA.
Forward planning, prioritisation, cost and time management.
Plans own workload in advance, scheduling activities to optimize the effectiveness of own and others contributions.
Compliance with standards/guidelines in I&R group
Evaluates full implication of actions on profitability, costs and values.
Assurance that all maintenance policies and procedures comply with corporate standards and industry, legislative practices.
Ensuring compliance with technical and operating standards.
Must comply with the companies Standards.
Conduct critical reviews/assessments of systems and processes, carry out RCA.
Develop an I&R Excellence programme
- Develop an' I&R Excellence' program to drive the business, including developing cost effective approaches for small assets.
- Lead best practice and interface with other departments.
- Will facilitate any changes to the maintenance strategy via the MOC process.
- Expected to make recommendations to maintain and improve asset maintenance activities.
- Drive all maintenance RCA and analysis of equipment.
- Liaise with production to understand the equipment that is unreliable.
Job Specifications:
Education/Certifications:
B.Sc. Eng. / Equivalent
Experience:
7 - 10 years related multinational exposure, oil and gas
Skills / Abilities:
Conflict management, Ability to learn, people person/ people management, the ability to change mind sets, proactive in thinking, a track record of leading teams, good influencing skills
Knowledge:
Maintenance management systems, CMMS, industry best practice, legislative documentation, A detailed knowledge of upstream Oil & Gas, detailed knowledge of offshore operations, consultant management
Attitude / Personal Characteristics:
Enthusiastic and committed, Good communications/listening skills, presentation skills, the ability to work across functions/disciplines, commitment to Health & Safety
