Senior Procurement Planner
Reporting - Director Procurement & Logistic and in his/her absence to the his/her deputy in action
Purpose
The senior procurement planner, a dedicated PUR resource, shall ensure that our procurement tendering and relevant purchase activities are planned in a professional, timely and structured manner, enabling a high level of forecasting and management of activity and resource requirements.
Principal Accountabilities
Maintain and manage overview of all current, ongoing and upcoming contracts and options
Develop and maintain the Tender Execution Plan
Manage progress of ongoing tenders at a high level of detail (P6 4/5), ensuring that all scheduled activities are correctly and logically networked, and that constraint dates are clearly identified and highlighted
Develop and maintain quarterly, biannual and annual tender plans
Contribute to the global rolling 12 month pipeline
When required, establish plans to assist buyers and purchasers in preparation for and during e.g. shutdown and campaigns
Advise on resource loading requirements
Work with all stakeholders including buyers to ensure that projections realistically reflect the current situation
Ensure that reporting is adequate, factual and timely
Provide early warning of trends that might adversely impact our operations
Ensure local tenders are appropriately coordinated with global endeavors
Contribute to performance management through reports
Minimum Requirements
Five years in a dedicated planning position, preferably coordinating contracts and managing contract execution activity in the oil industry
Certified and experienced Primavera P6 user
Excellent MS Excel and MS Project skills
Demonstrable, strong attention to detail
Strong communication, organizational and prioritization skills
