Principal Process Engineer

Our client is an international energy services company operating in engineering & production facilities, well support and gas turbine services. Employing over 28,000 personnel worldwide they operate in 50 countries

As Principal Process Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Act as main focal point with client for project scope definition / development and follow through into detail design for the upgrade and redevelopment of existing offshore facilities. Act as client Technical Authority
Execute and Lead Process Engineering discipline engineering activities within budget and schedule, maintain technical integrity and act as a discipline focal point for project scopes as required.
Reporting to contract Lead Engineer.
Review work/work output of discipline assigned staff as required
Assist and accept instruction from the Process Lead Engineer when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties

Education & Qualifications:
UK Bachelors Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, accredited by an appropriate Engineering Institution or equiv.
Chartered Status desirable.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Able to prepare Economic Studies relating to CAPEX, OPEX and selection of optimum process route
Conversant with Engineering software including Word & Excel
Working familiarity with the Pressure Equipment Regulations

Experience:
Experience in P&ID development and detailed engineering of brownfield facilities
Experienced in simulation technology wrt Hysys.Unisim and other process software such as Pipephase, Pipenet, Flaresim, Flarenet, etc
Relevant engineering experience which should include Offshore Projects or onshore O&G Processing/ petrochemical industry.
