Commissioning Engineer

As a Commissioning Engineer your main reponsibilities will include:

Write the commissioning philosophy for the project.
With contractors prepare a commissioning execution plan for all items of equipment and establish means of following up the progress against this plan.
Review contractors commissioning plans and approve them technically.
Ensure that following commissioning punch lists are created with the anomalies prioritised, and that the contractor establishes plans to resolve the situation.
Technically approve close-out of punch list items.
Co-ordinate with the QA/QC specialists for the mobilisation of personnel to witness factory acceptance tests or onshore pre-commissioning.
Liaise with verification body to ensure that any performance tests of 'safety critical elements' are acceptable to and witnessed by the verifier.
Liaise with contractor and company site personnel on questions related to commissioning.
Prior to commencement of the offshore commissioning spend time offshore as required to ensure that all personnel involved understand the scope of commissioning works and organisation of the commissioning operation.
