As an Assistant Superintendent your main responsibilities will include

Perform tasks as requested / instructed by Vessel Superintendent
Office/site administrative support associated with project activities
Collation of technical specifications information packs
Collation of planning schedules to suit activity
Daily control of project financial spreadsheets
Assists the vessel Superintendent for the provision of daily support to the vessels and assist in ensuring timely procurement of spares, maintenance of vessel Inventory and maintain an overview of all Critical spares for the vessels.
The hull / structure, tanks, all plant and machinery, permanently installed, on the vessel are maintained and fit for purpose.
All maintenance tasks within the planned maintenance system do not exceed their due date.
Ensure that the projects have adequate Health Safety Environment (HSE) and quality controls are in place and implemented accordingly and continually throughout life of the project
Responsible Person" for ensuring all grease and oil samples are analysed and ensure follow up action if necessary is coordinated with the vessel / manufacturer etc
Assist to ensure the planned maintenance routines are updated to accommodate new, modified or maintained equipment
Provide technical, contractual and commercial advice to other inter department project teams as required
Assist the Vessel Superintendent in the provision of detailed reports including schedule, progress, technical completion, variations, cost control on a minimum of a monthly basis

Education
HNC / HND or degree qualified in a relevant Engineering or Project Management discipline
