Our client is a major Mining and Oil & Gas production company based in Aberdeen and operating in the North Sea

As Control and Instrumentation Team Leader your main responsibilities will include

Provide day to day control and instrumentation engineering support to offshore production operations. Give technical support for high value production equipment to maximise availability, reliability and minimise operating cost e.g. power generation, gas compression and water injection.
Co-ordinate activities of control and instrumentation team to provide continuity and consistency of approach to maintenance issues.
Provide guidance on, and manage the Company's reliability assessment program to ensure compliance with the performance standards for safety critical systems.
Promote alignment between day to day objectives and strategic aims of company corporate Mission Statement.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner to comply with statutory and company requirements.
Provide control and instrumentation engineering input into existing and new assets ensuring company operational, certification and verification requirements are complied with.
Manage delivery of short-term operational solutions and undertake maintenance investigations, as required.
Provide input into strategic studies to optimise maintenance services over Life of Field.
Co-ordinate and direct the maintenance team effort for input into tenders and monitoring of contracts, budgets and budgetary control

Education/Qualifications
Essential
Recognised degree or equivalent in related subject
Excellent knowledge of reliability engineering, associated technical a standards, processes and relevant legislation
