The position:
The PrimeServ Academy in Copenhagen has vacant positions for a Technical Instructor.

Every year MAN Diesel & Turbo PrimeServ Academy Copenhagen conduct a great number of training courses for Superintendents, Chief Engineers and 1st Engineers and Electricians, on MAN B&W two-stroke engines.

The training is carried out worldwide both as theoretical courses as well as interactive courses using training simulators.

Training includes operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of simulators.

Our courses cover both cam controlled and electronically controlled engines.

Tasks:
Training includes operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of simulators.
Training and education of Power Plant and Engine Room engineers.
Training and education of MAN Diesel personnel.
Support and active participation in the ongoing expansion of education activities.
Tailoring the education programme in line with new standards for engines and regulations.
Representing MAN Diesel worldwide.
Travel up to 90 days/year.

Qualifications:
Knowledge about MAN B&W Diesel two-stroke engines, operation as well as maintenance.
Understanding of the relations between hydraulics, mechanics and electronics.
Great interest in communication, educational theory as well as practice related to teaching in complicated technical issues.
Matching of communication in order to ensure that the message reaches the target group at their level, as well as understanding their concerns.
Able to start and run own projects.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Open mindset, flexible for working hours and working place.
Good social behaviour and interest in people from foreign cultures.
