Senior Instrument Engineer

Our client is an international energy services company operating in engineering & production facilities, well support and gas turbine services. Employing over 28,000 personnel worldwide they operate in 50 countries

As Senior Instrument Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Deliver key Instrument and Control projects.
Capable of going offshore to support design surveys, project commissioning and handover
Specification of DCS, ESD and F&G Systems, modification work to existing installations
Field Instrumentation specification and procurement, instrument installation design,
Generation of Cause & Effect Diagrams, Control Philosophies in liaison with Process and Safety Discipline engineers,
Checking of design drawings and specifications, producing design packages, control system narratives, FAT and SAT Witness Testing and final commissioning procedures
Commissioning of Systems Offshore with handover to operations and final Close-out of Punchlist Items

Education & Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in Controls & Electronic Engineering or related subject.

Experience:
Suitable Oil & Gas or equivalent in a design environment with an engineering contractor or operator.
