As Cost Engineer your main responsibilities will include
Labour cost estimating for equipment assembly and test within the company product line, from single items to complete assemblies and systems.
Collation of costing information into a database for use in preparing pricelists and for use as the basis bid spreadsheets for major tenders and minor quotations, and also for use in production routings.
Analysis of actual hours against budgeted hours.
Any other requirements needed to allow the company to operate efficiently.
