Materials Controller

Our client is an international consortium of several major Oil & Gas companies
As Materials Controller your main responsibilities will include

Ensure that the Materials Management scope is executed in a safe and proper manner at all times, by competent and trained personnel in line with company approved HSE procedures.
Ensure construction activities remain on schedule due to the timely planned delivery of required materials and equipment
Daily Liaison with Procurement, Logistic and Freight Forwards Groups to maintain full material visibility throughout the project
Ensure that the contractor is in receipt of sufficient information to be able to check the degree of accuracy of company MTO's, and that the contractor notifies the company of any possible shortfall in sufficient time to take corrective action
Monitoring of Contractors control of the planning and preparation for the receipt, storage, identification, preservation, issue control and utilisation of all company provided items and contractor supplied materials.

Experience :
Previous experience worked in the material control, ware house or freight forwarding environment. Preferably Oil Industry onshore projects.
Familiar with local custom procedures and forwarding / expediting agreements and agents
