As Reliability Engineer your main responsibilities will include
Deliver optimum performance and continuous improvement in reliability and availability of safety and production critical equipment.
Provide technical expertise to Company Offshore Assets to improve physical asset performance through effective application of appropriate reliability improvement tools and techniques
Timely application of reliability expertise to identify causes and solutions to events (real and probable)
Assist in the development of new or improved enhancement tools and techniques
Qualifications/Training
Degree (or relevant industry experience) in Mechanical Engineering preferred or discipline specific qualification
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a similar role
Knowledge of associated technical/engineering disciplines e.g. instrument and controls, process engineering, integrity management
Technical proficiency in IT programmes/systems e.g. Excel, SAP MMS, engineering software
Familiar with UK industry regulations relating to the oil and gas industry
Effective relationship-builder at all levels, internally and externally
Working knowledge of RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) Modelling
Ability to reason complex technical issues independently or with support
This is a long term contract position
