Assistant Surveyor - North

Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Surveyor in the Falkirk/Edinburgh/Glasgow area to perform inspections and assessments for external clients. Job Responsibilities:

To carry out technical inspections/ assessments against defined specifications/ scope that include budget constraints and contractual requirements.

To produce a reports/certificates/documents to an agreed format and within an agreed timescale.

Data collection, analysis and presentation

Create and maintain technical file systems. Maintain computer databases. Provide administrative assistance as required.

To communicate customer feedback.

Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards. Job Requirements:

To provide engineering inpection services to clients in the following areas:
Welding procedure qualifiaction
Welder qualification
Pressure equipment inspection - new-construction
In-service inspection of pressure equipment
Material testing & Certification
Witness / Review NDE procedures and reports
