An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for this specialist organisation working with a multi-purpose heavy lift fleet. Due to expansion of the fleet, they are currently looking for a Technical Superintendent to join their team in the Singapore office.
As Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for the technical management of modern multi-purpose heavy lift vessels, which will include budgetary responsibilities. You will ensure vessels are operated efficiently through planned maintenance and repair, implementation of relevant policies and procedures (ISO, ISM, ISPS, etc), regular inspections and working closely with the crew.
You must be a Chief Engineer with relevant seagoing experience, as well as 5 years relevant experience ashore as a heavy lift Technical Superintendent. With a commitment to providing a quality service in a demanding environment, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), and an ability to travel as necessary.
All candidates must be based in Asia already.
