As Principal Instrument Engineer your main responsibilities will include
Review / Generate Scopes of requirements and Basis of Design.
Produce design and equipment specifications / requisitions for modification work to existing offshore platforms, undertake Technical Bid analysis.
I&C budget costing and control in liaison with Asset Focal Points and Client.
Technical liaison with vendors and suppliers & client technical authority.
Carry out offshore surveys (if required), liaise with Engineers / Designers.
Guide team of Engineers and Designers on smaller projects.
Checking and approval of varied deliverable from the I & C Team.
Interface with construction personnel in input to the overall estimate, and resolution of engineering queries.
Initial and continuous input to the project plan.
Input to the development of associate engineering personnel
Education & Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in Controls & Electronic Engineering or related subject.
Experience:
Supervisory skills.
Proficient with use of Microsoft database, spreadsheet and word-processing packages.
Essential to have full certification to travel to UKNS installations.
Relevant Oil & Gas or equivalent in a design environment with an engineering contractor or operator.
