Lead Mechanical Engineer

Our client is an international energy services company operating in engineering & production facilities, well support and gas turbine services. Employing over 28,000 personnel worldwide they operate in 50 countries

As Lead Mechanical Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Provide supervision, direction and support for all mechanical discipline engineering personnel.
Develop and maintain a mechanical team structure to provide a scalable resource base to meet project demands across a range of platforms.
Develop and maintain the mechanical work plans as an integral element of overall project plans and ensure delivery against the plans.
Provide first point consultancy to the team for mechanical specialisations and liaise with company specialist consultants.
Promote and develop new design technology solutions for the overall benefit of project delivery.
Ensure that all mechanical work complies with the company management system and that technical integrity standards are maintained.
Monitor mechanical discipline performance and develop discipline business improvement plans.
Carry out specific project tasks and responsibilities as required

Education & Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related subject.

Experience:
Oil & Gas or equivalent in a design environment with an engineering contractor or operator.
