As a result of LRQA's continuing growth we currently have opportunities to join our team to support our clients' requirements for complying with a number of Management Systems Standards by undertaking automotive industry assessments against ISO/TS16949 & ISO 9001 standards . Experience of other managements system standards would be desirable. Job Responsibilities:
- Undertake client management activities for assigned customers.
- Lead or participate in preliminary assessments, assessments, follow-up visits, surveillances and certificate renewals to contract and budget requirements.
- Comply with LRQA procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards.
- Produce verbal and written assessment reports on time and to the agreed format.
- Discuss and justify the findings of the report and agree the outcome with clients.
- Undertake necessary documentation, data, administration and communication activities needed to successfully fulfill responsibilities
- Pursue CPD and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness
- Coach other employees
- Identify new and additional business opportunities; advise clients on LR and LRQA services and action any resulting leads.
- Lead or participate in special projects. Job Requirements:
Qualifications: Degree or HNC/HND qualified (or commensurate vocational experience/quallifications) in a relevant discipline
Experience:
- 5-ADP qualified ISO/TS16949 lead auditor possessing a valid IATF card (essential)
- Previous experience of working for 3rd party certification body (essential)
- At least 4 years practical experience gained in automotive manufacturing /engineering industries (preferably more than 1 industry sector) (essential)
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the quality management standards (ISO/TS & ISO 9001) including knowledge of relevant UK legislations (essential).
- Basic knowledge and understanding of factory H&S, environmental controls including some knowledge of relevant legislations (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal skills (essential)
- High standard of integrity and personal presentation (essential)
- Experience of working on standard Microsoft software packages (essential)
- Valid driving license and ability to work in the UK (essential)
- Registered Lead Assessor - IRCA, IOSH or IEMA (desirable)
- You should be residing in England within easy reach of major commuting routes and/or industrial conurbations. This roles will involve travel, mainly within your region but occasionally abroad, including periods away from home.
