Area Operations Emergency Response Advisor

Our client is one of the world's largest energy companies employing over 80,000 personnel and operating in over 100 countries worldwide with expertise covering a range of energy sources

They are currently recruiting for the position of Area Operations Emergency Response Advisor, based in Baku Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan local national salary and terms of employment apply to this position.

Main responsibilities will include;
Provision of Emergency Response technical expertise and support to the Area Operations Health & Safety Team Leader and the Area Operations.
Maintaining a high level of focus on the Area Operations Emergency Response capability and state of its preparedness and review cross-site common procedures and Emergency Response Plans for consistency and continuous improvement.

Under supervision of and support from the Area Operations Emergency Response Specialist/Coach:
o Spend considerable time and energy coaching and developing all offshore staff with Emergency Response duties.
o Coaching and preparing Offshore Operations Engineers for Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) assessments.
o Carrying out regular audits and inspections of platform's compliance with Emergency Response Plans and procedures.

Education
Essential
Bachelor degree in engineering or sciences

Experience
Essential
Extensive relevant industry experience

Desirable
Significant operational experience preferably offshore.
Fire Team Leader/Response Team Leader roles preferably offshore
Fire Safety background would be beneficial.
