Job Responsibilities:
Administration of the Melbourne Port office
Telephone answering and enquiries
Maintaining work schedules and travel arrangements for Melbourne Technical Staff
Ship report administration for Melbourne, Brisbane & Cairns
Block Fee contract administration (client role)
Periodic updating of Shipbuilding Returns
Support of the Marine Manager as required
Job Requirements:
HSC/VCE (year 12) or equivalent
Several years of practical experience appropriate to the requirements of the job
Computer literate, with thorough knowledge of the
Microsoft applications (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Proficiency in English
Excellent telephone manner
Good communication, spelling and grammatical skills
High level of organisational and time management skills
Ability to prioritise
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Flexible attitude
