We are currently recruiting for a sales engineer to develop existing accounts and win new business.

The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering/naval architecture gained in industry or in a sales environment.

We are primarily focussed in the Marine and Offshore markets and offer a range of engineering services and products.

The role would suit experienced sales professional or an internal sales/customer service role professional looking to move into their first external sales roles. Ideal industry experience would include sales of engineering services and products in a marine or offshore environment.
The role will involve selling technical services to a wide range of industries including Oil & Gas, Marine, OEM's and Defence.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work remotely covering a wide geographical region in the UK with the potential for overseas travel.
The core business activities within the SeaTec Group cover marine engineering and naval architecture, training services, condition monitoring, marine electronics and underwater engineering.

Services are provided through the following business units:

UMC www.umc-int.com
SeaCom www.seacomelectronics.com
In addition to a basic salary, benefits will include a bonus scheme linked to sales performance, private medical insurance and pension scheme. The role will also include a car allowance.
