The Production Chemistry Field Specialist provide hands-on-technical experience and support to port long-term field supply of production chemicals products and provision of associated services to customers in the oil and gas industry. The role will include field operations and treatments, as well as implementing, monitoring and control of the different solutions to meet project and client expectations. The objective of the position is to support sales, service, delivery, and technical support of clients in assigned geographical area and territory.Able to Monitor, track, and maintain adequate field chemical inventories, equipment as necessary and report same to manager and customer.Utilizing ChemWatcher to optimize product usage and inventory.Visit workover rigs when rods, pumps, and tubing are pulled from the well as needed.Understanding of the "well" and associated production equipment (e.g. wellhead, downhole equipment, topside equipment).Maintain cleanliness, labeling, proper management of field pumps and tanks. Understanding their set up and maintenance and repair.Demonstrate the proficient use of and able to explain basic monitoring tools.Ability to safely collect samples as part of monitoring program, conduct basic field testing (e.g., water analysis and preservation of samples) and preservation of samples.Provide analytics and delivery of all reports required by customer contracts and internal reporting responsibilities, such as service reports. Able to interpret data generated (e.g., laboratory results, monitoring data).Ability to check and set chemical rates based on recommended injection rates on all assigned wells.Able to remove and install equipment under pressure and proactively identify failure points in the client's applications.Proactively trouble shooting client's applications and equipment.Exhibit technical proficiency in a specified job area (water, refinery process, petrochemical process, additives).Communicate effectively with Account Manager, coworkers, and all external stakeholders to ensure there are no issues with handovers, coverage, completing projects and response to client requests.Attends weekly internal safety meeting and customer specific safety meeting, training and stand downs.Ensure his/her safety certifications are active and up to date and objectives are met or exceeded.Build a close working relationship with the key customer users/buyers to ensure they are fully aware of all the benefits of deploying equipment, products and services.Become the customer interface for user/site related requirements during field operations. Also promote latest technologies.Ensure all personal safety certifications are active and up to date.Ensure all personal monthly safety reporting objectives are met or exceeded.Able to undertake special projects with variable supervision.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or GED2-3 years experience in Production Chemistry (Preferred)Must be able to pass pre-employment checksMust be able to work in the US without sponsorship
