The Logistics Manager is responsible to manage logistics operations and improve service levelsto field operations. They ensure goods move in a timely and compliant manner at optimum costwithin the GeoUnit or from a Central Logistics teams such as in the DSC or LCT towards the field.The Logistics Manager is driving cost reduction and process efficiency initiatives, improving theservice level to field operations, and ensuring compliance with (customs) rules and regulations.ResponsibilitiesThese responsibilities are activities that correspond to the metro stops and key processes.Plan ShipmentAdditional ResponsibilitiesEngages with internal (Business Line) stakeholders to ensure the right level of logistics supportis delivered as per the need of our (internal) customers.Build, train and motivate an effective logistics team in the GeoUnit or Central logistics team.Provide on-time logistics at cost-competitive costs to operations.Drive logistics cost savings initiatives related to Domestic and IE processes when in theGeoUnit or for international freight and hub operations from SSC level. Implement programsresulting in continuous improvement of service levels to the field.Manage the logistics team and enforce related processes and systems.Conduct monthly performance reviews with operations/stakeholders and KPI reporting.Analyze spend monthly and drive improvement initiatives including optimizing rental versus callout equipment, defining vendor strategies, optimizing rate application, establishing fixedschedules/milk runs on high volume lanes, etc.Account for the domestic T&M spends a percentage of revenue and domestic performancemetrics.Ensure compliance with land transport contractor guidelines, HSE policies, and localregulations (including DG) and ensures shipment execution follows the Schlumbergerstandards.Ensure full compliance with country-specific trade regulations & requirements as well asSchlumberger policies.Manage vendor quarterly business reviews with domestic logistics vendors and customsbrokers, and/or international freight forwards and engagement with P&S to deliver expectedservice quality.Perform monthly invoice audits to ensure contract compliance in billing processes.Ensure the logistics activities are delivered according to SLB standards and policies.Ensure import and export processes are executed timely, in the most cost-effective way and incompliance with regulations.Ensure proper training of team members--on both processes and systems--to maximize SQ toBL.Communicate with internal customers on a regular basis to ensure that the service levelMinimum Job Qualifications High School Diploma with relevant experience
