Svitzer, part of a global market leading company in towage, salvage and emergency response, is looking for Tug Masters for tugs engaged in harbor towage activities.

You will be working in a four week rotation.
Key Responsibilities
The Tug Master will be responsible for the efficient & safe operations and maintenance standard of SVITZER`s vessels. Specific responsibilities include:
Carrying out safe operations to assisted ships in a responsible and timely manner.
Taking personal responsibility for ensuring a culture of safety is observed on board at all times, and that existing tools to achieve same are utilized by all persons on board.
Ensuring proper administration of all ship management activities on the vessel, including timely safety and operational reporting, keeping of appropriate records, tracking of purchase orders, etc.
Liaising closely with Harbor Pilots, Marine Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and communication of all towage operations.
Who we are looking for
Qualifications:
• Master Certificate II/2 unlimited preferred
• Minimum 5-7 sea time in capacity of Master
• ASD Tug-handling experience required.
• Harbor towage experience required.
• Strong administrative/computer skills.
Flexibility, excellent team working abilities and communication skills in Danish, English and German, are required.
